Arts Enhancement Gallery

All field trips that promote arts education. These field trips are often not part of specialist programming, but are beneficial in advancing art knowledge and learning. For example, students might attend a concert with no context, conversion, or learning objective tied to it, or create posters that display their learning with no art design process behind their creation.

Visiting Arts

Artists, composers, and authors come into the classrooms to have engaging conversations and workshops with students. The visiting artists talk though cultural, artistic, and professional influences on their work. Students have the opportunity to interact and ask questions with the visiting artist.

Collaboration

Thematic or topical collaboration with classroom teachers and fine arts teachers in order to enhance lessons. This is different from Arts Integration but an impactful strategy to use in the classroom. Example: water cycle songs alongside the classroom teachers are working on the water cycle, not a joint project.
